“The sun appears to go round the earth, but in reality the earth goes round the sun. You appear to be an individual person separate from others, the environment, the world and the universe, but in reality you are pure Consciousness in which the individual person, all others, the environment, world and universe exist.”

Meet Our Team
Dara Blumenthal, Executive Director
Dara offers contexts for healing and awakening to unfold. Her approach guides people to access, know, and relate with more and more layers of their direct experience beyond the dense physical level of the body and the personal-self-construct.
Dara began formally studying and practicing mind-body awareness at age 20. At 23 she became a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master. Dara earned a BA in Sound, Self, and Embodiment from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, as well as an MA in Critical Theory and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Kent, United Kingdom. All of her academic work explored self-identity, (dis)embodiment, society, and ethics. Dara also holds certification as an Integral Facilitator (including adult developmental psychology, Zen awareness, and conflict mediation).
After 14 years of embodied meditation, Dara had a spontaneous Kundalini awakening and full-rising. At 19 years into her embodiment practice and during a yearlong retreat, the post-personal stages of development opened and unfolded.
Today, Dara is in the process of articulating and sharing the path of embodied awakening that she knows intimately and calls “Opening the Form to Divinity”. Learn more about Dara here.
Sami Badawy, Director of Education
A life long interest in the source of human suffering has been my personal journey. I have been a life-long meditator, starting a practice at the age of 12. This path has led me down both psychological as well as, spiritual developmental frameworks.
I began working with expanded states of consciousness through plant medicines in 2009. The natural progression led me to supporting individuals on this path of self-exploration and self-realization. My training in PSI, Hakomi Therapy, as well as, Ketamine assisted psychotherapy, provided further grounding in working with the human psyche and guiding people along their paths of healing and liberation.
Today, I offer the methodology that I've developed and refined over the past decade and half, called "Unfolding Presence". I share this methodology through courses, retreats, and train practitioners in it as well.
Prior to making this work my focus, I was a physician/surgeon for 30 years. I am originally from Lebanon and completed studies both in France and the United States. I currently reside in The Last Green Valley in Connecticut.
